OUR PASTOR

Dr. Christopher M. Webb, is the Senior Pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church. He has a heart to see people come to know Christ and then mature and develop in their walk with Jesus Christ. It was the second Sunday morning in September of 2019 that God providentially introduced Pastor Chris and his family to New Bethel’s loving church family, as pastor.

Pastor Chris is a proud member of the Waccamaw Siouan Tribe of North Carolina. He has been serving in the ministry since 1998. He has been in full time vocational ministry since 2001. Pastor Chris has served as pastor of three other churches within the Burnt Swamp Baptist Association. He also has served as a Certified Hospice Chaplain and Certified Workplace Chaplain, covering multiple counties throughout Southeastern, North Carolina.

Pastor Chris completed his Bachelor degree in Biblical Studies (07) from Carolina College of Biblical Studies, a Master of Arts degree with a specialization in Pastoral Counseling (09) and a Masters of Divinity degree (10) from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Pastor Chris completed his Doctorate of Ministry degree in Pastoral Leadership from the Liberty University Rawlings School of Divinity in 2018.

Pastor Chris has been married to his loving and supportive wife Carmellia since January 1992. She is very gifted in the areas of teaching, and serving the youth, and within the areas of women’s ministry. They have three children Marlena, Maria, and Nayeli.
