Visiting New Bethel Baptist Church
Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience, and we would like to put you at ease. Your first visit to New Bethel Baptist Church will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcomed and “at home”. Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
What can I expect on my first visit?
We look forward to meeting you, during our Discipleship Classes. These classes are small group settings and a great way to build relationships. The teaching lesson will be facilitated by a member of our church and the material curriculum applies to your own life-stage. After Sunday School, everyone normally attends worship service and enjoys inspiring music of our church choir, worship team and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, relevant, expository, and Bible message from our pastor Dr. Webb.
Where do I take my children?
An excellent children’s nursery is available for Babies: 0-12 month and Toddler’s: 1-3 years. We promise to keep your child safe, clean, and cared for by highly qualified church members. For toddlers, we provide a fun, friendly, and Bible-centered class during worship. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.
What about my teens?
Whether junior high, high school, and College & Career, there’s something for all within this age group. Most of the teens enjoy attending Discipleship classes and then attend our worship service.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at New Bethel Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress from casual to a more formal dress style; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at New Bethel Baptist Church!
Am I Expected to Participate in the Offering?
While we encourage our church members to biblically, freely and joyfully participate in giving to the ministry of our church, we do not aim to make anyone feel pressured to give. We don’t invite you to New Bethel Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family friendly place of worship, where you can come, connect, grow and go to impact darkness.
